Non Airbrushed Me

When I got the email that I’d been accepted as an Ambassador for the orginazation, Non Airbrushed Me, I was ecstatic. Being open and vulnerable about my physical and mental health and my journey to love this body has been the basis of my blogging endeavors this past *almost* year. Through the body positivity community I’ve gained friends, confidants, and inspiration to continue figuring out who I am within this body and despite it. It’s been a wild ride so far. And I think it’s only going to get wilder.

NAM (the acronym for NonAirbrushedMe) is an Australia based organization created by Amber Gwynn, “a registered nurse and a warrior woman living with Multiple Sclerosis.” Her story is a beautiful one and having the opportunity to join her brainchild is one I don’t take lightly.

It is said that you are known by the company you keep and I cannot imagine being in better company than the 75 other global ambassadors of NAM, and of course Amber herself. I’m honored. Flat out honored.

I am so looking forward to what lies ahead for myself and this beautiful movement. And I couldn’t wait to gush to you all about it. I hope you’ll consider checking NAM out.

Until next time. ❤
