Pumpkin Patch Day!

This weekend we went to a company picnic hosted at a super popular and super amazing local farm called Tate Farms! Entrance is $12 for ages 2 and over, which isn’t bad for a full day of activities!

This massive farm boasts acres of pumpkins and cotton, with a massive play area for kids that includes a ton of swings, slides, a petting zoo, two in-ground blown up jumpers, and four “corn cribs”, which are basically just four big troughs filled with corn for kids to roll around in! There are also hayrides, pedal cars around a track, and a tractor pulled “train” that takes kids and adults around the property!

But everyone really comes for one reason: finding the perfect pumpkin for carving! And we definitely found some winners! After loading up for a hayride, we’re pulled by a tractor to the pumpkin fields to find our perfect punkins!

Of course you know I had to look extra cute for pumpkin patch day, so I broke out my brand new cardigan from Ava & Viv, one of Target’s plus-sized brands! This cardigan is a 3X, which is about one size bigger than I normally wear, but I wanted it because it swallows me up, it’s roomy and baggy, and makes me feel amazing! I picked this up for $27.99!

My shirt, socks, and boots are all from Torrid because you know your girl loves some Torrid clothes, and those leggings came from Walmart almost 3 years ago and I am OBSESSED with them.

So, now let’s talk makeup!

I had to do something orange-ish because we were going to a freaking pumpkin patch, so I grabbed my Collective Cosmetics Mandela Effect Palette ($29.99) and used Tune and Memories for these orange and teal eyes! My lips are Pixi By Petra MatteLast Liquid Lip in Au Naturelle ($14.00) and my lipstick held up the whole day, despite munching on food from Tate Farm’s “Country Cafe”!

The glitter in the center of my eye is from Hard Candy’s Electric Sunset glitter gel palette ($6.00) and the inner corner is from NYX Machinest Highlighting Duo in Grind($12.00)!

All in all it was an awesome day and I’m so glad we got to do it! If you’re in North Alabama, I highly recommend a visit to Tate Farms during the fall!
